I grew up in the cute, Lake Huron harbor town of Lexington, Michigan. After high school, I spread my wings and flew to Michigan State University. My life will never be the same after my experience at MSU. It was there that I met my precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! He gave my life significance and meaning. He began to mold my heart with a special love for people. I graduated as a proud Spartan in June 1999. Soon after, an amazing opportunity opened for my adventurous spirit. I moved across the country to the fruitful, central valley of California, in Lodi. The theme for my three and a half years in California was that God is the potter and I am the clay. He was tenderly molding my heart and life through an incredible, rewarding, and intensely challenging position working in a foster home with teenage boys.
The faithfulness of God continues...one December evening in 2002, I
was talking on the phone with one of my dearest friends from high
school, Amy Watterson, and her husband, Lucas. I had no idea that one of
our typical conversations would have such a profound, life-changing
effect. You may be asking, "What made it so different?" At the very end
of our conversation, Amy invited me to join their team at Mountain State Wellness as the Healer at the Front Desk! After a lot of prayer, I
experienced God's smile of approval on my decision. In June 2003, I
journeyed across the country to move to Morgantown, West Virginia!
You may be intrigued by my title, Healer at the Front Desk! Our office
gives credit to the healing power of Jesus, I am just his vessel. Above
and beyond the tasks of an office manager, it is my heart's desire and
mission at the front desk to create an environment for you to experience
acceptance, belonging and love unlike any other office. I desire to see
the full restoration of your family's health so that each member can
become all that God designed them to be.
It will be my joy and pleasure to welcome you into our office. I look so
